Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG, shortly Porsche AG or simply Porsche, is a sports car company founded in 1947 by Ferry Porsche, the son of Ferdinand Porsche, in Stuttgart. Their first model was the Porsche 356, released in 1948. In 1963, they launched the Porsche 911, which would achieve great success in car racing. It is a 6-cylinder rear-engined sports car and also wins great rallies.
