Automotive industry exports increased by 13 percent in 2016!
Automotive Industry Association announced the automotive industry foreign trade report for the fourth quarter of 2016. According to this; Turkey's total exports decreased by 1 percent in 2016, exports of the automotive industry has increased by 13 percent and maintained its first place with 16.8 percent share in total exports.
Turkey's total exports in 2016 compared to the same period last year, 1 percent, while imports decreased by 4 percent. In this period, foreign trade deficit decreased from 63 billion dollars to 56 billion dollars. Customs Tariff Statistics Position (GTİP) 87 according to the data determined by the export of automotive foreign trade 13 percent compared to last year, imports increased by 2 percent.
